How long do injectables last?
The longevity of injectables and fillers vary from person to person. In most cases, Botox cosmetic procedures can last from 3-4 months while Dysport can remain from 4-5 months. Other cosmetic injectables we offer include longer-life treatments such as Restylane and JUVÉDERM®. Who performs the injectables at your practice?
Shohreh, our cosmetic and aesthetic specialist, has been a Nurse Practitioner for over 26 years and holds expertise in cosmetic procedures, skincare treatments, injectable and laser treatments. Her specialty training is backed by education in integrative medicine, family medicine, and emergency medicine. Le Nouveau Belle takes pride in our clinical experience and aesthetic training to fulfill safe, balanced results for our clients.
Do injectables hurt?
Any injection will cause mild pain. However, we use a variety of measures to minimize this discomfort. Ice, topical anesthetic creams, and/or nerve blocks with lidocaine are all techniques used to reduce pain, bruising, and swelling.
Will I bruise?
Bruising will vary from person to person. However, facial fillers, especially near the corners of the mouth, often result in mild bruising. Shohreh uses a thin, flexible, hollow tube with a blunt rounded tip called a micro cannula, which is used to administer injection treatments and may reduce bruising. If you are concerned about a pre-existing medical condition or pain, consult your doctor.
What is the investment for your services?
Please call us at 703-992-0226 for a price list of all of our injectables. We price our treatments like BOTOX cosmetic, Dysport and Xeomin® by unit. Facial fillers are priced by the syringe. We will give you a specific assessment that meets your needs and our specialty areas during your consultation so you can decide and assess what you are comfortable paying.
