PDO Threads

PDO Threads are hypodermic needles preloaded with an absorbable PDO suture. It’s a synthetic absorbable surgical suture composed of Polydioxanone. PDO sutures are also used to perform cardiothoracic surgery (which makes it one of the safest materials to be implanted in the body). It will be inserted and your skin will naturally begin to create collagen. Your skin will fully absorbs it within 4-6 months without leaving any scar tissue.

MESH OR LIFT

  1. Nu-Mesh technique uses smooth threads that consist of creating mesh under the skin (sutures are inserted vertically & horizontally.) This mesh will serve as the foundation for our new collagen production. This technique tightens the skin naturally, without any drastic change.
  2. Nu-Lift technique uses barbed threads are utilized to produce a more dramatic and immediate result. The PDO sutures have “barbs”, which provide a grip underneath the skin. Sutures are inserted the same way, except they can be pulled in 1 or 2 directions, creating an instant skin repositioning. The skin will then build new collagen that will secure the lift.

Restoring the V-Shape

A healthy and beautiful face has a “V-Shape”. The ageing of tissues and action of gravity, diminishes or inverts the “V-Shape”. The Nu-Mesh and Nu-Lift technique create a scaffolding in order to support the tissues and keep them in the “V-Shape” or where necessary to delicately lift the tissues and reposition the skin to recreate the “V-Shape” where it’s been lost.
